Residential contractor and operations manager reviewing a tablet inside an active remodel

iBuildPro FAQ

Contractor software questions, answered.

See how iBuildPro connects leads, dispatch, projects, customers, finance, and specialized AI agents in one operating platform built for residential contractors.

Start with the fit

iBuildPro is built for residential remodeling, specialty trades, custom residential building, and direct-to-homeowner service—not generic commercial construction workflows.

Four parts of the operation

Find the answer by where the work happens.

Start with product fit, then follow the job from the first lead through project delivery, finance, and the AI agents working across it.

01 / Product and fit

Start with the operating model.

The right platform depends on the work you sell, how your team hands it off, and what the customer needs to see along the way.

What is iBuildPro?
iBuildPro is a unified CRM and operating platform for contractors and home-improvement companies. It connects the records and workflows behind leads, appointments, estimates, contracts, production, customer communication, finance, and final payment. Specialized AI agents work inside that connected system across functions such as dispatch, production, accounting, and follow-up.
Is iBuildPro just a contractor CRM?
No. CRM is one part of the platform, but iBuildPro is designed to run the operation beyond the sale. The same job record can carry the customer relationship into estimating, signed agreements, scheduling, project work, invoicing, customer visibility, and closeout.
What types of contractors is iBuildPro built for?
iBuildPro is designed for residential remodelers, custom residential builders working on contracted-scope projects, specialty trades, and direct-to-homeowner service businesses. That includes businesses such as roofing, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, windows and doors, painting, and landscaping. It is not positioned as a commercial-construction or open-ended time-and-materials platform.
Can it support both projects and service work?
Yes. iBuildPro supports contracted-scope work, where a job moves from estimate and agreement through phases, changes, invoicing, and final payment. It also supports ticket-by-ticket service and recurring maintenance workflows, including dispatch, appointments, customer history, and follow-up.

02 / Leads, sales, and dispatch

Keep the first promise connected to the job.

Lead source, calls, texts, appointments, scope, and signatures stay attached to the record the rest of the team will use.

How does iBuildPro handle new leads?
New leads can enter the pipeline with their source attached, route to the phone number your team chooses, and move onto the dispatch board when an appointment is booked. Calls and texts stay connected to the appointment, giving the person who handles the next step the context of what was said and promised.
Can customers book or confirm appointments?
iBuildPro supports appointment booking within the lead and dispatch workflow. The product also includes customer confirmation links and connected calendar workflows, so the office, dispatcher, and field team can work from the same appointment record.
Does iBuildPro create estimates and contracts?
The platform includes estimates, contracts, document checklists, multi-signer review, and e-signature workflows. AI can help draft estimate line items, while the final signed agreement can establish the contract and payment schedule. Change orders can be handled as signed project documents rather than informal email approvals.

03 / Projects, customers, and finance

Give every team one version of the job.

Customer visibility, project communication, payment phases, and the books stay tied to the same underlying work.

What can customers see in the portal?
A private customer link can bring together proposals, invoices, payments, live schedule information, photos, project chat, and closeout sign-off. The portal is designed for phone access, with no password to forget, multi-signer proposal review, e-signature, and a view-only live project schedule.
Does iBuildPro sync with QuickBooks?
The platform includes two-way QuickBooks synchronization. Inside iBuildPro, invoices can remain tied to agreements and payment phases, while approval controls, credit memos, refunds, and accounts-receivable offsets help keep operational records aligned with the books.
How does team communication stay organized?
Texts, WhatsApp messages, customer-portal chat, and internal team communication can stay attached to the project they belong to. iBuildPro also includes AI summaries for long threads, delivery visibility, and a company messaging number, helping teams keep job context out of scattered personal conversations.

04 / AI, integrations, and getting started

Connect the system before automating the work.

iBuildPro’s agents work from shared operating context, while integrations extend the platform around tools your team already needs.

What do the AI agents actually do?
The AI layer is designed around operating roles, not a general-purpose chatbot. Depending on the workflow, agents can assist with lead follow-up, dispatch, estimate preparation, project monitoring, accounting tasks, communication summaries, and identifying work that needs attention. Because they work inside the shared operating system, they can act from connected job and customer context.
Do we need other software to use iBuildPro?
The core platform is positioned to run without third-party dependencies. Integrations extend it when your team already relies on other systems. iBuildPro lists QuickBooks Online, Google Calendar, Google Drive, DocuSign, Stripe, WhatsApp, GHL, and several lead sources; confirm the exact fit and configuration for your stack during a demo.
Can iBuildPro replace our current collection of tools?
That is the goal of the connected platform: reduce the handoffs among separate CRM, scheduling, estimating, e-signature, project, finance, portal, and communication tools. The best transition path depends on the systems and data your company uses today, so the demo is structured around your trade, current tools, and the workflows you want to improve first.
What does onboarding and migration look like?
Onboarding and migration are included in the platform story, but the practical path depends on your current tools and operating model. A focused demo is the right place to map what should move first, which integrations matter, and how to preserve the workflows your team already depends on.
